It may sound strange but there is a specific month where couples “synchronize” their sex lives. That’s according to a new study from LoveHoney.

The survey involved 2,000 people, couples and singles, and was asked about how often they have sex each month of the year and which month they find sexiest.
22% of couples answered that July is the sexiest month and their sexual activity is more intense,due to the fact that they are more “relaxed” while there is also the prospect of summer vacation.
Specifically, they reported having sex four times a week in the seventh month of the year, an average of 3.7 times a week in August and 3.2 times a week in June.
The second of August is probably related to the fact that almost 2/3 of couples said they have more sex when they are on vacation.26% of respondents said they wanted to have more sex during their vacation because they have more time.

A spokesman commented on the investigation, noting:

“Sexual activity tends to peak in the summer months with July being the peak month. This is because we tend to feel happier and more optimistic when the weather is good
and the nights are long. In addition, sunny days help boost hormones.

As for the months when the erotic mood falls? According to research, January and November – which is also cold – are the months when we have less sex.
In fact, the average drops to 2.3 timesa week and 2.1 times a week, respectively.
