THE RITUAL OF HYGIENE BEFORE AND AFTER SEX

Both before and after sexual intercourse, there are some simple but basic rules of hygiene that we must follow.

As recommended by the members of the Hellenic Gynecological Society in order to avoid any unpleasant situations in sex, it is necessary for couples to observe the following rules.

Toilet before or after sex:

Urination before and after sex is necessary for both sexes, as it is the natural “cleanser” of the body and removes any bacteria that may enter the urethra during sexual intercourse.

Clean underwear:

It may be taken for granted but the underwear besides.. sexy must be and clean!

Wash your hands:

Another basic rule of sex hygiene that many people ignore is the proper washing of hands which as we know have the leading role in sex.

Nails and hair removal:

To avoid injury or infections the nails should be clean and tidy.

Condom:

The use of a condom protects not only from unwanted pregnancy, but also from sexually transmitted diseases.

Washing genitals:

Proper cleanliness of the genetic organs both before and after sex is a basic condition for avoiding infections. As experts recommend, the washing of male qualifications should be done with plenty of water, so as to remove the sebum that gathers under the odor and which causes a strong odor.

For the female sensitive area, the saying should be followed all measure excellent since excessive cleanliness and aromatic soaps can disturb the natural balance of the vagina and destroy the pH balance. Experts recommend washing with mild soaps or chamomile and use any pharmaceutical or cosmetic product only on the recommendation of a doctor.

Change towels:

Do not use the same towel for wiping the genitals as the one you have wiped off your feet, hair and the rest of the body.

Especially for women, wiping should be done dabbing in order to absorb moisture.
